The Catholic Church is actually VERY pro sex and intimacy

But where can you go to learn those topic you just don't want to Google?

If you've ever thought:

  • My husband is the only one who enjoys our intimate time

  • I'm Catholic, so sex is just another thing on my list

  • I thought marriage would be more fun

  • I'm drowning in diapers and toddlers, there's no time or energy for sex

  • The only point of marriage is having lots of kids, but I wish there were more

Then you're in the right place!

"Sexuality is a source of joy and pleasure." Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2362

God has given a great gift to husbands and wives. It is so special and sacred, He wants us to enjoy and celebrate it.

However, many of us don’t understand the basics. We were raised to think it is something wrong, dirty, or you just don’t talk about it.

Actually, the Church has a lot to say…and it isn’t negative.

Yes, the fallen world has corrupted what God created perfect. He calls us to be fruitful and multiply.

Fruitful doesn’t just mean barefoot and pregnant. It also means building a fruitful relationship that brings us joy and leads us closer to Heaven.

That includes our most intimate relationship and time spent together as one.

Sexuality, by means of which man and woman give themselves to one another through the acts which are proper and exclusive to spouses, is not something biological, but concerns the innermost being of the human person as such. It is realized in a truly human way only if it is an integral part of love by which a man and a woman commit themselves totally to one another until death.

- Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2361

You may be thinking:

  • We are trying to avoid, there's no fun going on here

  • My hormones are a mess, it just won't ever happen for me

  • We barely have time to sleep, sex is not an option

  • Sexual pleasure was invented in the 1960s, it has no place in a traditional Catholic relationship

What if I told you that your family planning status, hormones, time constraints, and commitment to the Catholic faith have nothing to do with the pain and frustration you are feeling but are afraid to talk about?

Our amazing bodies were wonderfully and fearfully made. God the Creator gave us the gift of unitive and fruitful pleasure between a husband and wife.

Hi I'm Ellen!

I went through the ringer when it came to sex in my marriage. The first 6 months of my marriage were so hard. We were at rock bottom just one month in.

I told God, "You tell me when, and I'll do whatever you need to make sure that no one else experiences what I did"

And here I am! Certificate in the fundamentals of Sex Therapy and in pursuit of my Master's Degree in Theology of the Body. I host a podcast, Charting Toward Intimacy, and coach women in embracing God's beautiful design for sex and intimacy. I'm here for you!

There is nothing wrong with you for wanting more.

You were made for more!

It’s time to give yourself fully to the gift of marriage that God so lovingly designed.

Sex is beautiful and precious! It’s time that we allow ourselves to fully experience it as the Church teaches and the LORD intended.

Ready to come along with me and build better marriages with happier wives?
